"WORK PARTY" Single Launch Gig, Saturday 16th January @ Crawdaddy
To kick off what's going to be a big year for us, and to celebrate the release of our next single Work Party, we will play a show in Crawdaddy (Harcourt St, Dublin) on Saturday January 16th.
Little Green Cars will provide support on the night and if you didn't see them the last time they played ahead of us, you should make the effort to get in and see them. Tickets for this show are 10 euros.

ALBUM RECORDING
Our writing sessions with Dennis Herring in September went very well and we will return to Mississippi in January to record the album.
We are currently recording a single with Ken Mc Hugh from Autamata

Phantom First Friday Date Confirmed!
The great radio station that is Phantom 105.2 FM Dublin have asked us to play the Phantom First Friday gig in Andrew’s Lane Theatre Dublin on May 1st along with Ham Sandwich + Revolution of Dogs. These shows are ALWAYS jammed with people so make sure you get your tickets early….

NYC and LA dates for April
Due to the phenomenal success of our most recent NYC dates before Christmas, we will be returning to the US in April for a couple of really cool shows. Halloween New York Style
We celebrated Halloween in great style yesterday following 3 great shows in NYC. All three venues were great to play, and we look forward to our next trip back to the US.

Edinburgh Festival Fever…
Hoarsebox will play 3 nights at the Edinburgh Festival’s Late n’ Live Club on Aug 1st, 2nd and 3rd.

Hoarsebox have been added to the attractive line-up for Dysart Festival in Kilkenny on August 9th. We will be sharing the stage with the likes of Jools Holland and John Martin – check back here for stage times etc.

Cuckooland EP- available May 19th
Our new EP, Cuckooland, featuring 5 tracks recorded in January 08 by Ger Mc Donnell (and ably assisted by Philip Magee) and mastered by the very talented Greg Calbi at Sterling Sound in New York, will be available to order from May 19th. It will be available through mail order for the affordable sum of €8- check back to this site on that day to get a copy. Copies will also be available to buy at our gigs, starting with Dublin’s Button Factory on Tuesday May 20th

The lads have been invited to play some of their fine tunes at The Jameson Distillery today, as part of their Patrick’s Day celebrations. Jameson Whiskey have invited lots of radio stations from the US to broadcast from the Distillery, and Hoarsebox will be in place to give them a taste of their own blend of music and banter!

Fast becoming one of Ireland’s most talked-about little-known music venues, Eddie Murphy’s in Thomastown, is the scene of the crime tonight as the lads join local favourites Dali.

Mixamatosis!!
The tracks from Grouse Lodge are being mixed this week and next week.
Plans are to release a single in May 08, and to have a 5-track EP available to purchase through the website and at gigs from May also.
The tracks will then be sent to New York City, USA, to be mastered by Greg Calbi at Sterling Sound. Given his workload however, it looks like early April before we will have completed songs.
